Hmm...if I were looking for a guild (which I am not - lol) - these are the attributes I would look for in a Guild leader:
* Does not build a guild around him/herself (cult of personality guilds)
* Does not boast, nor demean others but shows respect and gives credit where it's due.
* Always shows complete respect to others, regardless of their playing ability, guild tag, or character.
* Does not seek to elevate their 'position' at the expense of others.
* Shows consistency as best they can in dealing with people who break the rules.
* Is not afraid to make the tough calls (kick offending members)
* Is not afraid to delegate
* Is not afraid to get their hands dirty and help out, even in the non-glory stuff.
* Is not elitist
* A fun person to hang out with
* Gives loads of time to training and developing players
* Is not egotistical, nor indulges in self promotion (or gets others to do it for them).
* Uses their Guild's resources for the good of the wider community.
* Is a very good player but is prepared to listen and learn and admit mistakes
* Has a clear vision of where they want to go, and has a track record that proves it.
* Able and willing to take responsibility for mistakes, and not make excuses.
* Realizes that the position of Guild leader makes them a servant not a tyrant.
Lastly, acts with complete and uncompromising integrity.
If a person scores badly on this list, then they really shouldn't be leading themselves, let alone a guild.
